Our Downtown location serves fresh poké bowls and Mr. Kim's Korean Fried Chicken at 190 Smith St., Unit 1. We hold a 4.7 Google rating. That number exists because the people on our line hold a standard — every shift, every order.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need to have made poké before. You need to be someone who takes pride in doing things right, moves with purpose, and doesn't need to be told twice.
This is a prep and line role in a high-volume kitchen. The work is fast, physical, and repetitive — and you need to be someone who finds satisfaction in doing it well, not someone who's just looking to fill a shift.

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE
You'll be working the line assembling poké bowls with speed and accuracy, supporting our Korean fried chicken service, restocking and maintaining product freshness throughout the shift, upholding food safety and sanitation standards without being reminded, and backing your teammates when it gets busy.
The standard doesn't drop because it's a Tuesday or because the rush caught you off guard. You hold it regardless.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 2 year of kitchen experience — required
- Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented in prep, portioning, and presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and genuinely team-oriented
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement
- Clear communicator in English
- Legally authorized to work in Manitoba
Saturday availability is mandatory. Day and evening shift availability preferred. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
No driver's license required — but reliable transportation to and from work is expected.
