Job Overview
Guildford Station Pub is hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. This role is best suited for someone with solid restaurant experience who can perform consistently during busy service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to house standards
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of dishes
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep stations clean, organized, and service-ready
- Work efficiently during high-volume service
- Assist with prep, opening, and closing duties
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen (required)
- Proven experience working as a line cook
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Food Safe certification (preferred)
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay & Bonus
- Hourly wage starts at : $21
- $1,000 total Signing & Retention Bonus
- $500 paid after successful completion of 3-month probation
- $500 paid after 1 year of continuous employment
