This postion ur main concentration is fulfilling contract requirements for one call utility locating response management for selected clients.
- Location: Grande Prairie, Manning, Peace River, Spirit River, Beaverlodge, Valleyview, and anywhere in between.

We prefer 2 years of prior locating experience, however we will train and continually assess successful candidates. Success in this position requires outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. There is a high level of independence and self drive in this type of work.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Read and comprehend site plans, area maps, blueprints in order to determine location of underground facilities (gas, power, telecommunications, etc.)
- Locate and accurately mark buried facilities and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or other appropriate authorities. Operation of highly sensitive locating equipment and troubleshooting is required.
- Adhere to Company safety program, protocols and procedures which includes proper completion of daily forms, reports and applicable training.
- Provide accurate documentation and/or electronic sketches for the specific requested work area. Complete tickets in a timely manner and upload information into one call management program for tracking.
- Operate company vehicle in a safe manner, and maintain professional appearance and behaviors.
- Be available for travel and extended working hours, when required. This may include an on-call schedule for after hour locates.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Construction relevant safety/industry tickets should be current:
- Will be required to drive a Company vehicle and Driver's abstract will be required.
- Must be self-motivated, able to prioritize, meet deadlines and be highly organized.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work in a team atmosphere.
- Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to locate proper addresses.
Successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check to pass clients' security requirements. They must also successfully pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment test.
