Overview
We're seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented finish carpenter to join our growing finish carpentry team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing high-quality interior and exterior finish work on residential projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and composite materials using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking equipment
- Complete high-quality finish carpentry projects including interior trim, doors, mouldings, custom cabinetry, closets, feature walls, and built-ins, while also contributing to premium outdoor living spaces, decks, pavilions, and exterior finish carpentry.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of projects
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols including heavy lifting techniques and proper tool handling
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.
- Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working on ladders.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and continuously improve.
