Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and MRP systems like AS400
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately using order picker equipment and packaging materials
- Load and unload trucks safely utilizing forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation of all shipping and receiving activities
- Ensure proper storage of goods within the warehouse, adhering to safety standards and organizational procedures
- Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to coordinate timely order fulfillment for e-commerce orders or bulk shipments
- Follow safety protocols during all loading, unloading, and storage activities to prevent accidents or damage
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, or other machinery as required (certification preferred)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to shipping & receiving processes
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or distribution centers preferred
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems like AS400, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Familiarity with forklift operation, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment; certification is a plus
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including order picking, packing, labeling, and load & unload procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurement tasks
- Experience working in e-commerce environments or warehouse distribution centers is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and inventory management

Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour
