Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or kitchen experience, is preferred. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly when necessary
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to enhance their dining experience
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and assist with meal assembly as needed
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes comfortably
