5 Days on 2 Days off (Locals Preferred)

Summary
The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing material flow and inventory accuracy for the Surmont SOR site. This role ensures timely receipt, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process freight delivered directly to the site.
- Issue stock and work order materials for Surmont personnel.
- Organize and store materials received at SOR warehouse.
- Operate forklift and loader for loading/unloading tasks.
- Ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain housekeeping for warehouse, Sea-cans, and yard.
- Optimize inventory and storage space utilization.
- Pick and stage materials at the SOR warehouse.
- Support cleanup and organization projects (e.g., seacan inventory, material sorting).
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications
- Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.
- Inventory management skills/history with ERP software (SAP preferable)
- Prefer an understanding of discipline.
- Training/certification required to operate forklift/loader.
- Physical requirements – Ability to work on your feet for 12-hour shifts and perform repetitive bending, walking, and lifting of up to 50 lbs.
