Marketing Coordinator
Location: Lower Mainland, BC (hybrid option considered)

About the Role
Fort Modular is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of our marketing initiatives. This role blends digital coordination, content creation support, event and materials logistics, and internal information management.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Web
1. Coordinate website updates and maintenance in partnership with a third-party web developer/agency
2. Support word/search engine (SEO) management for the website, including keyword tracking, on-page optimization input, and coordination with the third-party developer on SEO improvements
3. Manage and schedule social media content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
4. Monitor social channels for engagement and flag opportunities or issues
Content & Design Support
1. Create and update digital brochures and marketing collateral
2. Edit and format images for proposals and pitch materials
3. Assist with layout design for proposals, presentations, and print materials
4. Coordinate photography needs for projects, events, and marketing use — including completing photography personally when appropriate, or arranging and managing outsourced photographers as needed
Information Management
1. Consolidate and organize marketing data, project info, and assets on SharePoint
2. Maintain up-to-date and well-structured folder systems/templates for easy team access
3. Support tracking of marketing materials inventory and version control
Marketing Materials & Events
1. Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials (signage, print collateral, presentation decks)
2. Manage ordering, inventory, and distribution of branded swag/promotional items
3. Assist with planning and logistics for company events, tradeshows, and sponsorships
4. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for marketing production needs
Qualifications
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or coordinator role
2. Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, or Canva at minimum)
4. Basic understanding of SEO principles and website search performance
5. Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document management systems
6. Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite) an asset
7. Comfortable with basic photography (composition, lighting) for internal/marketing use
8. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
9. Excellent written communication and attention to detail
10. Comfortable coordinating with external vendors/agencies
11. Valid driver's license an asset if event/site support is required
Suggested Salary Range
$60,000–$68,000, based on experience.
Pay: $60,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
