CPA Accountant – Property Management

Salary: Starting from $75,000 per year (depending on experience)
We are a property management company overseeing multiple properties for several companies/entities. We are seeking a CPA-designated Accountant with experience in property management and real estate accounting to manage accounting and financial reporting across our portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounting for multiple companies and properties
- Year-end closing for multiple entities and preparation of annual financial statements
- Monthly financial statements, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and intercompany transactions
- Rent roll and trust account reconciliations
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- HST/GST filings and regulatory reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits
Requirements:
- CPA designation required
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in property management and real estate accounting
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting and year-end closing
- Proficiency in accounting and property management software
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Yardi Breeze is a must
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
