Our team is committed to quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service. We are growing and looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to join our Ontario team.
We are seeking a driven, competitive, and results-oriented Sales Account Manager based in Toronto to oversee and grow our Ontario territory. Reporting to the General Manager and Business Development Manager, this role focuses on servicing/growing existing accounts while developing new business across the food service, specialty bakery, grocery/retail, janitorial/sanitary, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing sales environment.

Sales, Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Ability to travel and promote our products on a wide base of clients such as:
- Ethnic and mainstream food service distributors
- Regional QSR chains
- Commercial and specialty bakeries
- Grocery & retail accounts
- Jan/San distributors
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Develop qualified leads for new and existing customers and execute a proactive sales plan
- Maintain accurate customer contracts and documentation.
- Make joint sales calls with vendor partners and manufacturer representatives.
- Conduct in-person customer visits across Ontario to drive engagement and secure commitments.
- Manage profit margins and expenses relating to buy-sell agreements.
Product Expertise & Value Selling
- Demonstrate and maintain the ability to learn and promote Atlas Packaging’s core product categories, including but no limited to:
- Food Service rolls
- Specialty sheeted products
- Extensive line of paper bag products
- Custom printed Napkins
- Assist customers by identifying cost savings opportunities and introducing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Provide quotations, product recommendations, technical support, and relevant literature to customers.
Operational Collaboration
- Support inside Customer Service Representatives with contract updates, quote preparation, and customer inquiries.
- Resolve customer issues by coordinating with internal teams.
- Conduct research and analysis with the Atlas Packaging team to identify sales potential and new market opportunities.
Professionalism, Health & Safety
- Present a professional image to customers, vendors, and partners at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols in compliance with:
- Atlas Packaging’s Health & Safety policies
- Customer site protocols
- The Occupational Health and Safety Act
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Diversified knowledge of B2B sales and packaging/industrial solutions developed through relevant post-secondary education experience.
- Minimum of 3 yearsrelevant work experience in distribution, food service, QSR, bakery or other related industries.
- Experience in customer service or inside sales is an asset; outside sales experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time, travel, and territory effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- AS400 or other ERP software experience an asset.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle as travel is required.
Pay: Base Pay + Commission
