Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hard working Farm Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various daily tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn about farm management practices. This person will be required to live in close proximity to the farm and have a valid drivers license.
Duties
- Monitor animal health
- Must be reliable and willing to learn
- Follow all implemented biosecurity and animal welfare practices and procedures
- Clean, sanitize and disinfect barns, equipment & machinery
- Operate automated egg packer
- Communicate daily egg output, mortality, issues
- Detect disease and health problems in poultry
- Keep records of daily production, cleaning checklists and L-Cheq requirements
- Other duties as assigned
