Position Overview
Vista Security & Investigations Inc. is seeking an Overnight Dispatch & Operations Coordinator to support our overnight operations center. This role is responsible for dispatching security personnel, managing incoming operational calls, supporting mobile units, and coordinating overnight incident responses.
This is a fast-paced operations role requiring strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm, organized, and professional during active situations.

Schedule
This role operates within a two-person overnight coverage structure:
- Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday and Saturday: 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM
Final schedule will be confirmed based on operational rotation.
This is a full-time, in-office overnight position.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming operational calls in a professional and timely manner
- Dispatch guards and mobile units based on operational needs
- Support guards and mobile teams with real-time communication and direction
- Coordinate overnight incident response and escalate issues when required
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, operational updates, and overnight activity
- Ensure clear and organized handover notes for daytime operations
- Escalate critical incidents, staffing concerns, or service issues appropriately
- Maintain communication with supervisors, mobile personnel, and operations leadership
- In situations such as emergencies, critical incidents, or staffing shortages, you may be required to temporarily support operations at a client site or assist field teams to ensure continuity of service.

- Ability to respond effectively during urgent operational situations
- Occasional site attendance or travel may be required based on operational needs
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License
- Clean driving abstract (if applicable)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in security operations, dispatch, control center, or a similar environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in real time
- Experience with TrackTik or similar systems is considered an asset
- Experience supporting mobile patrol or field operations is preferred
