Middle Beach Lodge is currently looking for an energetic and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team this season! This role is primarily focused on groundskeeping responsibilities while also providing support for general maintenance tasks as needed. The right candidate for this position is an all-around team player, with a strong eye for detail, and a can-do attitude.
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, & General Manager. Preference is given to individuals willing to sign a 6 month contract.

What You'll do:
- Ground maintenance: cleaning and maintenance of parking lot, garden or landscaping, etc.
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
- Perform a variety of work in the maintenance department including carpentry, drywall, painting tasks and experience in using power tools.
- Perform maintenance repairs and services.
- Daily technical inspection rounds and checks on the property.
- Communicate effectively and genuinely with guests, employees and other departments.
- Demonstrate teamwork by co-operating and assisting fellow employees as needed.
- Be knowledgeable in all emergency procedures as required and fully understand the lodge’s fire, emergency, and tsunami procedures.
- Clean and maintain work area, materials, and equivalent, to report defective materials and equipment to Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported appropriately and immediately.
About You:
- You have a valid driver's license
- 1-2 Years maintenance experience
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Arrives to work on time and is present for all scheduled shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.50-$20.50 per hour
