Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Use forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed to handle large or bulky items
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules efficiently
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of goods safely and efficiently
- Prior warehouse experience preferred, with familiarity in moving equipment such as forklifts being a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Experience in customer service is highly valued for delivering a positive client experience
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently in a fast-paced setting
