We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor- Generalist to support students across various subjects and grade levels. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in multiple subject areas as needed (Grade 8-12). Must be able to support all areas. Ideal for strong science background with an understanding of basic essay writing.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes student confidence and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements.
- Support students in developing study skills, time management, and academic strategies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working with children or in classroom settings is highly desirable.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education and student development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Reliable availability to commit to scheduled tutoring sessions during designated hours.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
