Position Summary:
The instructor reports to the Family, Community, and Counselling Program Manager and is responsible for delivering courses, supporting students, and assisting with practicum coordination, curriculum development, and planning. The role also contributes to online Moodle course development and completes additional duties as assigned. For a list of FCC courses, go to www.necvancouver.org.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and work experience as follows will be considered:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s is preferred.
Minimum of three years of teaching or instructional experience in a related field, preferably within a post-secondary environment.
Strong verbal, written, and digital communication skills.
Knowledge of Indigenous values, communities, and instructional methodologies, with experience working alongside Indigenous organizations and Indigenous adult learners.
Understanding of assessment for learning from an Indigenous lens.
Demonstrated ability to navigate Moodle confidently and effectively.
Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning

Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for programming or events.
