Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Esthetician to join our skincare and beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skincare treatments, including facials, waxing, and eyelash extensions, while delivering outstanding customer service; will have a certificate in esthetics from a reputable school and ideally will have at least on year of experience in the spa industry.
This role offers an opportunity to help clients enhance their natural beauty in a welcoming environment. The Esthetician will also assist with retail sales and front desk duties, contributing to the overall success of the spa.
Compensation will include service commission and tips.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments such as facials, waxing, lash & brow services, pedicures etc.
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable treatments and products based on client needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for all equipment and treatment areas
- Assist clients at the front desk with check-in and appointment scheduling, and product purchases
- Engage in retail sales by upselling skincare products and treatments to enhance client results
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product usage, and aftercare instructions
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to continually improve service quality
Skills
- Proven experience highly desirable
- Strong retail sales skills with a focus on upselling complementary products and services
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
- Effective communication skills for clear consultation and client engagement
- Ability to manage responsibilities efficiently while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of current skincare trends and techniques is preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple client appointments simultaneously
