Experienced Ukrainian Dance instructor
We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and community minded Ukrainian Dance Instructor to join our artistic team for the upcoming season.
Key Responsibilites
- Instruction and technique: Plan and deliver high quality, high energy Ukrainian dance classes for various age groups and skill levels
-Choreography: Create original, culturally authentic, and engaging choreography for year end recitals, festivals, competitions, and community performances.
- Dancer Development: Focus on regional styling, proper technique, stage presence, and physical conditioning, while fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaboration: Work closely with junior instructors, the board, costume coordinator, and parents to ensure a smooth, organized and successful dance year.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Strong background in Ukrainian dance performance and a minimum of 2 to 3 years of instructional experience is preferred.
Cultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of character dance, regional Ukrainian styles, music, and traditions.
Leadership: Excellent communication, crowd- management, and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire dancers of various age groups.
Reliability: Organized, punctual, and committed to the growth of our dancers and the school.
