Professional Seamstress (Full-Time)
Page The Cleaner is a reputable dry cleaning and tailor company dedicated to providing impeccable service and quality craftsmanship. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Professional Seamstress to join our team for full-time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of garment alterations, repairs, and custom tailoring with precision and an exceptional eye for detail.
- Work with a variety of fabrics and garment types, including delicate, formal, and heavy-duty materials.
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment.
- Consult with customers to understand their alteration needs, taking accurate measurements and providing professional recommendations.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and meets specified deadlines.
- Assist with quality control of finished garments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a professional seamstress, tailor, or in a similar role within the garment or dry cleaning industry.
- Impeccable sewing, fitting, and alteration skills.
- Thorough knowledge of garment construction and textile properties.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to handle a consistent workload.
- Dedication to producing high-quality work.

- Capability to lift and move large, heavy loads of garments, often in a warm production environment.

- A super happy and energized demeanor, maintaining a proactive and caring approach toward colleagues and customers.
- The ability to work efficiently and responsibly with minimal direct supervision.
Schedule:
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
