Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and assist with a variety of construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse tasks within the construction industry, supporting skilled trades and contributing to the successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as laying stone, running machinery, helping the Team progress on backyard construction
- Perform hardscape tasks, including preparation and finishing work
- Assist with gardening, sodding, paver installation, tile laying, and other specialized trades as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Prior experience with hand tools, construction sites, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and safety procedures
- Ability to run machinery is a plus
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills across various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, welding, or flooring installation
- Must have a means of transport to the yard
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
