Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation
- Oversee food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Prepare traditional Indian dishes with authentic flavors and presentation standards
- Coordinate food service activities to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control for ingredients and kitchen equipment
- Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service and quality assurance
- Uphold restaurant policies and procedures related to safety, hygiene, and hospitality standards
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting, preferably with Indian cuisine or similar culinary styles
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within the food industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
- Experience in restaurant management or food service operations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of customer service in the hospitality industry
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
