Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our Indian culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee all aspects of food handling, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Experince in tandoori items
- Develop and implement menu items, ensuring variety and consistency
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service during serving hours
- Train new team members on kitchen procedures, safety protocols, and culinary techniques
- Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health standards
- Assist in restaurant management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining a positive work environment
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
