Overview
We are seeking a 4th or Licensed skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the repair process.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during repairs or maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance operations.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all work performed.
Job Hours Monday to Friday 8am -4pm off Weekends.
