Essential Functions:
- Lead daily production operations across multiple lines, areas, and/or shifts to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
- Provide direction, coaching, and performance management for Production Supervisors and Production Teams.
- Monitor key operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production demands.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Materials teams to resolve operational issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Support employee development, training, and succession planning efforts.
- Assist in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and operational strategies.
- Communicate production performance, challenges, and opportunities to plant leadership.

Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 2–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Experience leading supervisors or multiple production teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with ERP, MES, and Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications Desired:
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
- Multi-shift manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in automotive and/or glass manufacturing.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout production areas for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear required PPE and comply with plant safety requirements.
