We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, as well as ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The Maintenance Person should be knowledgeable in a variety of areas including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to diagnose faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and buildings.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Operate hand and power tools to complete repairs.
- Follow safety procedures when performing maintenance tasks.
Requirement:
- 2 + years’ experience in construction or building maintenance;
- Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety legislation;
- Experience with light plumbing, door handles, door closures, general repairs, ceiling tiles, locks etc.
- Basic computer skills.
