Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Part-Time Cleaners to join our team . Clients consist primarily of Residential clients /Air BnB turnovers so attention to detail and thoroughness are absolutely crucial as these are personal spaces and most often someones home . This role is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail who are committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services in various settings.
The position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time work and provides an opportunity to contribute to a professional and well-maintained space. Shifts are usually Monday-Friday 9-430pm with some shifts for the Air Bnbs happening on Sundays . No evenings and again unless Air BNB turnover, no weekends . applicant will not have to work on Stat holidays.
Opportunity for advancement to Team Lead position if deemed suitable by employer. Pay increases after 3 month probational period and applicant is invited to continue working on the team . Business is primarily located in Fall River /Waverly area but also serves Lwr / Middle Sackville, Wellington, some Dartmouth and some Halifax locations.
Very beneficial for applicant to have a valid Can drivers license and be able to get themselves to Fall River to join company car for their shift each day, but if unable to applicant must be able to get themselves to a central pick up location (on a bus route )close to the area for the team lead to pick them up .
.Duties
- Perform all cleaning tasks designated by employer/client in a timely, professional manner
- Restock supplies as needed for your own working station
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Be willing to obtain or have recent Criminal record check done prior to employment
- Must provide CDN work references
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must work well on a team
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Reliable transportation is a plus for reaching different work sites although central location (on bus route) pick up can be arranged if necessary
- Be a problem solver and not amplifier
- Positive attitude and professionalism in all interactions with staff and clients
- Must use English idiomatically
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance for work with good personal hygiene
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
