Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts while efficiently moving products throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
The position will be Afternoon Shift of 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Monday thru Friday.
Duties
- Operate forklifts to transport materials within the yard and warehouse.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers using a forklift
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Proficient in operating a forklift and other materials handling equipment.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating forklifts in a yard or warehouse setting is a must.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required safely and effectively.
