Join a well-established landscape company in St. Mary's with over 30 years of experience creating beautiful outdoor spaces. We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Landscaper who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and takes pride in high-quality results.
As a Landscape/Hardscape Labourer, you’ll support a variety of landscape installation and maintenance tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working with tools, and contributing to projects that enhance outdoor environments.
Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm or 6pm
Key Responsibilities
- Plant trees, shrubs, and perennials
- Lay sod, grade soil, and prepare landscape beds
- Assist with general landscape construction tasks
- Install outdoor furnishings such as benches, bike racks, and site furniture
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, tractors, etc.)
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, carts, shovels, and dollies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Requirements
- 1–2 years of landscaping experience
- Experience with landscape equipment is an asset
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to St. Mary’s
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- AR or valid G License
- Grade 12 or equivalent diploma
