Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals for catered events.
- Supervise and support cooks and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Help manage inventory, food storage, and stock rotation.
- Assist with menu preparation and recipe development.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced catering environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for creating exceptional food and customer experiences.
