Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our busy dental practice at Smile Plus Dentistry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and dental staff. This role requires proficiency in dentall terminology, familiarity with phone systems, and experience with dental software.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
- Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services, insurance and answering patient questions.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow during appointments.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Keeping recalls up to date
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance benefits, and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental terminology is essential for effective communication.
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations is required.
- Experience with electronic dental management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing patient information accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff alike.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Must be available to work on Saturday & Sunday.
- Fluent in Punjabi is an asset
