Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Engage in active selling through upselling
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Utilize strong communication skills to educate customers about products and services
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Assist with merchandising tasks to enhance store presentation and sales appeal
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related fields
- Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and POS systems is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor to create an inviting shopping environment
