We’re currently seeking an exceptional Host/Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic.
Job Summary:
As our Host/Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a positive, welcoming experience for every client and their pets. From greeting visitors and managing appointments to supporting daily front desk operations, your attention to detail and friendly demeanour will help set the tone for excellent care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Schedule appointments, send reminders, and manage calendars
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
- Handle payments, invoicing, and some light administrative tasks
- Communicate clearly with the veterinary team about patient arrivals and client concerns
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer systems
- A love for animals and a calm, compassionate demeanor
