Core Fuels Ltd. is hiring an experienced Fuel Delivery Driver for our Alma office. This is a permanent, full-time position, and we would prefer to hire someone who has several years of DZ license driving experience (standard transmission). The posting is for our Alma office in Wellington County, and we would prioritize drivers who live close by. Fuel delivery driving experience would be best, but we are willing to train the right driver.

Main Purpose of the Job:
Distribute fuel products promptly to customers professionally and cost-effectively to increase customer satisfaction.
Educational Requirement:
· DZ or AZ Driver’s License
· TDG Fuel – Transportation of Dangerous Goods and/or TDG Propane - Transportation of Dangerous Goods (we train)
· Bulk Truck Certificate (we train)
· WHMIS
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Delivering propane and petroleum products to different addresses and through different routes.
· Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules.
· Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle.
· Communicate with customers and management to resolve clients’ complaints.
· Complete appropriate paperwork.
· Operate assorted equipment in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
· Follow all drivers’ regulations and health and safety standards and regulations.
· Wear required Personal Protective Equipment
· Basic math skills and reading ability required
· Communication skills
· Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification provided
· WHMIS training provided
· Manual transmission driving skills an asset.
· Additional qualifications, cross-training, years of experience and abilities would affect the rate of pay.
· Must be available for occasional after-hours, and on-call time.
· Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
· Must be able to sit, stand, walk on unlevel ground and drive.
· Lifting to 50 pounds
· Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
· Drivers must be able to lift hoses, cases, pails or cylinders.
· Overtime and on-call availability required from time to time.
