Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, along with the technical expertise to perform high-quality bodywork on various vehicles. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle body damage, ensuring that all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs.
- Remove damaged panels and components, including bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Repair or replace damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform body alignment and frame straightening as needed.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming.
- Apply paint finishes to repaired areas, ensuring a seamless match with existing paint.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of work.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment specific to auto body repair.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately.
