Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Skilled Laborer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in framing carpentry, construction, and a variety of residential and commercial building projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with residential and commercial deck framing projects.
- Measure, cut, and assemble building materials according to specifications.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general construction tasks.
- Follow project plans, instructions, and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with carpenters, supervisors, and other trades.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in framing carpentry and construction is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods.
- Ability to read and follow construction drawings and instructions is an asset.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
