BILINGUAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - OTTAWA, ON.
Our client, a leader in weighing and slicing solutions for retail, commercial customers and the industrial sector is seeking a skilled Bilingual Field Service Technician to support their retail division customers throughout Ottawa and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on the installation, repair, and maintenance of retail equipment such as scales, slicers, and wrappers.
This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently in the field, and supporting customers with both hardware and software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing technical support and troubleshooting in the field. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and a customer-focused approach to service delivery. Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully Bilingual English and French - Speak, Read, Write
- 5+ years of experience working with electro-mechanical equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience supporting IT software and network-connected devices
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and participate in two-person lifts when required
- Fluent in English with strong customer communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Currently hold or willing to obtain Measurement Canada Certification with company support

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
