We are looking for an experienced Indian Chef to join our kitchen team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine, including North Indian curries, tandoor items, and traditional cooking techniques. This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to quality in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes (curries, gravies, biryani, tandoor items, breads) Manage daily food preparation and ensure consistent taste and presentation Handle spice blends, marinades, and traditional cooking methods Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards Assist with menu planning and portion control Train and supervise kitchen staff when required Monitor food inventory and reduce waste Ensure compliance with Alberta Health Services regulations Requirements Minimum 2–5 years experience as an Indian Chef or Indian Cook Strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, and cooking techniques Experience with tandoor is an asset Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Legal authorization to work in Canada (LMIA support may be considered for the right candidate) What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Stable full-time hours Supportive work environment Growth opportunities within the business How to Apply Please apply on Indeed with your resume or contact details.
