Job description:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented transcriptionist with dual expertise in both medical and interview transcription to join our team in a flexible, remote role. This is a specialized position ideal for someone who is equally confident working with medical dictation and complex, multi-speaker interview audio, including sensitive or high-detail content.
Important: Required Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must meet both of the following criteria:
- Certified Medical Transcriptionist (proof required)
- Proven experience with interview transcription (e.g., law enforcement, 911, or similar environments)

What You’ll Do
- Transcribe law enforcement interviews, workplace investigations, and 911 call recordings
- Provide medical transcription support as needed (overflow work)
- Produce accurate, well-formatted transcripts with strong attention to detail
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all privacy standards
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in both medical and interview transcription
- Strong listening, grammar, and formatting skills
- Ability to work with challenging audio (multiple speakers, accents, background noise, emotionally sensitive content)
- High level of professionalism and discretion
Availability
- Must be available for a minimum of two weekend days per month
- Additional flexible availability is an asset
About the Role
- Interview transcription will be your primary focus
- Medical transcription will be assigned as secondary/overflow work
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
