Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines while preparing drinks.
- Assist with food service as needed, including serving food items and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
- Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with state laws.
