Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and work areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle food products safely during preparation, storage, and service.
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Help create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience is an asset but not required.
- Fluency in Tamil is required to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling practices is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
