Job Overview
We are seeking experienced CWB Certified Welders for immediate openings specializing in aluminum fabrication. The ideal candidates will possess strong welding skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components according to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accurate fabrication
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Conduct rigging and mechanical setups for welding operations
- Use calipers and basic math skills to ensure precise measurements and tolerances
- Assist with assembly of welded structures and components
- Utilize crane or forklift as needed for material handling and positioning
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Perform routine inspections of welds and finished products for quality assurance
Experience
- Certified CWB Welder with specialization in aluminum welding (MIG and TIG)
- Proven experience in manufacturing, construction, or ductwork environments
- Knowledge of machining processes, hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutting techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, press brake operation, and assembly processes
- Experience with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic math calculations preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of schematics and metal fabrication standards
This role requires candidates to be detail-oriented with strong technical skills in welding and fabrication. Immediate availability is essential for this position.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
