Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Portable Toilet Vac Truck Driver / Operator to join our team. This role involves operating specialized vacuum trucks to service portable toilets and other sanitation equipment at various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum trucks to clean and service portable toilets, holding tanks, and related sanitation equipment.
- Drive trucks to designated job sites, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment, tanks, and waste materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, mileage, and materials used.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating large vehicles or vacuum trucks is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often lifting up to 50 pounds or more and occasionally lift and/move up to 100 pounds.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in sanitation, waste management, or similar fields is a plus but not required. This role is essential for maintaining sanitation standards across multiple sites while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job. Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
