Type of Employment: Full time, permanent, 6- days a week (as required); which include Saturdays, depending on workload and priorities.
Position Summary
The Truck & Coach Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company fleet vehicles, transport trucks, trailers, and farm equipment. This role ensures all assets are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to support daily operations. The Technician plays a key role in preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and minimizing downtime across the fleet.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Repair and diagnose farm equipment, company vehicles, transport trucks and trailers including refrigerated trailers

Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, lubricating, air and fuel filters

Conduct regular safety inspections on vehicles and equipment

Replacement of any defective parts. Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance

Plowing, salting, and removal of snow will be required when necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Truck and Coach Technician (310T) License OR registered apprenticeship (2nd–4th year)

Over 5 years of experience as a Truck & Coach Technician

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components

Experience using diagnostic tools and computerized scan systems (asset)

Valid driver’s license (AZ/DZ preferred or considered an asset)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality

Working knowledge of computers and scan tools is considered an asset

Safety-first mindset with adherence to all company policies and procedures

Commitment to high-quality workmanship and operational excellence
Physical Abilities:

Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.

Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.

Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs

Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.

Work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F
Compensation: $35.00-$42.00/hr., benefits, RSP, onsite parking and other company perks, all tools are provided.
