Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Personnel to join our supply chain and warehouse management team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing stock processes, and supporting demand planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and experience in procurement, warehouse distribution, or retail management. Duties
- Monitor and manage inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, AS400, or similar systems.
- Conduct data collection and mining to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement within inventory workflows.
- Support demand planning activities by analyzing sales data, forecasting future needs, and coordinating with procurement teams.
- Utilize data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create reports that inform decision-making related to materials management and order fulfillment.
- Assist in sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier negotiations and evaluating 3PL providers for warehouse distribution.
- Oversee order fulfillment processes ensuring timely delivery while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with retail management teams to align inventory strategies with merchandising goals.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency within the supply chain operations.
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed, following safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data visualization (Tableau, Power BI), and SQL for data querying.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles including demand planning, materials management, procurement, and sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar platforms; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience in retail management or e-commerce environments is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills for supplier interactions and procurement activities.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets through analysis skills and data visualization techniques.
- Process improvement expertise with a focus on operational efficiency within warehouse distribution or retail settings.
- Basic forklift operation certification preferred; adherence to safety standards is mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory tracking and reporting.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
