IAG is seeking a recent graduate in HR who is highly organized, analytical, and passionate about improving processes to embark on an exciting career at Yorkdale Ford as a HR Administrator . This is a newly created position for us and we’re looking forward to the incumbent streamlining HR processes.
Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 annually
Schedule: Full-time - Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Primary Work Location: Yorkdale Ford - 3130 Dufferin St, Toronto, ON M6A 2S6

What you'll deliver:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Preparation of employee-related correspondence, forms, and templates.
- Update and manage information in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) including certifications with expiration dates, title or status changes, and adding attachments when pertinent.
- Follow-up on training course completion after onboarding and when re-training is required.
- Generate HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and performance metrics.
- Assist in compliance audits and ensure documentation meets labour laws and company regulations.
- Monitoring adherence to established dealership recruitment and policy processes and standards.
- Follow up with departments when candidates’ opportunities have not been actioned appropriately.
- Escalating unresolved concerns, delays or process gaps to dealership leadership.
- Acting as a liaison between departments to create a seamless candidate experience.
- Other duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize competing assignments and strong verbal and written communication are required.
- This role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The incumbent will also be proficient at maintaining both confidentiality and privacy at the highest level
- Experience: Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is an asset.
- Education: Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HR software (HRIS, ATS) and MS Office
- Professional Designation: Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, or candidate, is preferred.
