SENIOR MORTGAGE UNDERWRITER — ALBERTA (IN-OFFICE)
Artisan Mortgages is looking for a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join our Alberta-based mortgage team in our Edmonton office. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision, clarity, and confident decision-making matter, this could be the right fit for you.

YOUR ROLE
As Senior Underwriter, you will take the lead on underwriting files with confidence and efficiency. You'll bring strong judgment, deep knowledge of lender guidelines, and a practical approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with the team to manage complex files, find effective solutions, and ensure a smooth client experience from start to finish.
This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, is self-directed, and is ready to contribute at a high level without the need for micromanagement or constant direction.
You will be servicing one broker only. You are not being shared amongst multiple brokers.

COMPENSATION:
- Base salary plus a fixed dollar amount per funded file, paid quarterly. Amount of salary will depend on the level of experience the candidate brings to the table
- Benefits
- 50% of net commission from any files the candidate brings to the company
