About ITPS Canada: ITPS Canada is a test pilot school utilizing the latest technology and teaching techniques to train the highest level of pilots and flight test professionals from around the world. Our teaching aids are the aircraft themselves. We boast a wide-ranging fleet of 30 aircraft, comprising over 15 different aircraft types, each demonstrating the unique characteristics of its category. Our hangar houses military jet trainers, single and twin-piston aircraft, large amphibious aircraft, a variety of helicopters, and advanced simulators.
Role Overview: As a Flight Line Operations Crew Member, you will be an integral part of our dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving various aircraft and helicopters to and from the hangar, as well as positioning them on the tarmac. Your attention to detail will be essential in conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, ensuring the readiness of our aircraft for training missions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely pull out and position aircraft and helicopters for daily operations.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure aircraft readiness.
- Collaborate closely with flight instructors and maintenance teams to support multiple aircraft launches per day.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized flight line environment.
- Be prepared to adapt to dynamic operational requirements.
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who meet one of the following criteria:
- Experienced Flight Operations Professionals:
- Military or airline operations experience is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentices:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enthusiasm for starting a career in aviation.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic operational environment.
- Possession of a diploma from an Approved Training Organization by Transport Canada or a foreign aviation regulator is an asset.
