JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance, trouble shooting, repair and overhauls of all natural gas engines and reciprocating, screw & rotary vane compressors
- Assist in diagnosing technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Assist in producing, organizing, and submitting all necessary documentation and reporting
- Must be reliable, able to work as part of a team, and have a positive attitude
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3rd/4th year Apprentice or Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Value personal and professional integrity
- Possess strong customer service skills and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional time management and workload origination skills
- Competent with computers including Microsoft office
- Must have a flexible work schedule – shift work, overtime, weekends, and schedule changes
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS
- Class 5 non-GDL license with acceptable driver’s abstract
- H2S alive
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- CSTS
- TDG
- WHMIS
Note this is a camp position with a rotation of 8 days on / 6 days off #HP
