Compensation: $85,000 + benefits
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a skilled manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in production operations, continuous improvement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees in daily operations.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, organization, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production schedules and workflows to ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Support employee training, development, and performance management initiatives.
- Monitor production metrics and participate in process improvement projects.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
What You Can Bring
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in quality-driven and process-oriented environments.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions is an asset.
- Comfortable working both on the production floor and in an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems is considered an asset.
