Northern Comfort & Co. is now hiring detail-oriented professional Residential Cleaning Professionals to join our trusted team in Etobicoke & West Toronto. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating beautifully maintained, welcoming environments and understands the importance of reliability, efficiency, and client care.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a positive, professional team culture with multiple leadership opportunities such such as regional operations management as we expand across Ontario and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine residential cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting, with clear checklists and expectations using a room by room company standards document to ensure we can manage both client and employee expectations
- We provide all tools, products and equipment including non toxic / green housekeeping products for the safety of our staff and our clients.
- Assist with minor home care tasks (tidying, organizing, linen changes, light staging etc.)
- Track maintenance issues or client requests to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company supplies & restocking/replenishing.
- Provide a warm, professional experience during every client interaction
- Work independently or as part of a 2-cleaner team
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional cleaning and housekeeping experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to use hand tools and light equipment where required
- Excellent time management and ability to follow structured cleaning routines.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Comfortable with some physical work — including lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying supplies
- While this role provides flexibility when it comes to scheduling, we do strive to ensure our recurring clients the comfort of knowing they will have the same team in their home each visit to ensure consistency in the quality of service.
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle is ideal but not mandatory.
